Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to make an appointment?

We do allow walk ins if we have availability, however we highly recommend booking your treatment in advance to ensure your preferred time and service is available. A credit card or debit card is required when booking services. If cancellation is necessary, a 24-hour notice is required to cancel or reschedule any appointments.

Should I arrive early to my treatment?

Please arrive 10 minutes before your appointment.   Arriving early allows you to fill out necessary paperwork and consent forms prior to your treatment.  Doing this ensures you get to take advantage of all the time allocated for your customized treatment and service.   Please note that late arrivals will not receive an extension of time and will end at the scheduled time for the consideration of our next client.

What forms do I need?

Prior to receiving a consultation and any treatment, we do require our first-time clients to complete an intake form/questionnaire.   Please scroll down to the bottom of this page to find our client intake form.  In addition, you can view our other consent forms and disclaimers on our Forms tab on our home page.  

Can a minor receive a service?

Clients under the age of 18 require written consent from their parent or legal guardian.   Only clients that are receiving spa services will be allowed in the spa areas.  We ask that babies and toddlers do not accompany an adult during any spa services for the safety and comfort of our staff and clients.   Children under the age of 14 may receive a service but must be accompanied by their parent or legal guardian.  

How do I prepare for my visit?

Be sure to arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment time to complete any necessary documents.   Be sure to drink a lot of water to maintain hydration and receive the full benefit of your experience here at Essentials.   The water flushes out any toxins released by the massage, body treatment, sauna or steam service.   To ensure you and our clients experience a relaxing environment, please refrain from talking on your cell phone and any unnecessary interruptions.  All cell phones must be on silent mode or turned off please.

What if I have a medical condition?

When scheduling your appointment, please let us know if you have any physical or medical conditions.  Our staff will personalize your treatment to meet your needs so be sure to disclose any conditions to your therapist or on your intake form to ensure we provide you with the best consultation possible.   If you have any questions about a spa treatment and how it may affect your health, consult your doctor.
